04/12/21 Welcome rotation student Teniola Idowu!

Teniola Idowu (Teni) is a first-year graduate student from Lanham, MD. She attended Penn State where she earned a degree in microbiology and a minor in sociology. She is currently working with graduate student, Eugene Rudensky, and postdoc, Xiaomin Yao, to understand the mechanism by which the heterozygosity of a common ATG16L1 variant protects against Salmonella infection.
