Stela Sota

Stela received her BS in Cell Biology and Biochemistry in 2017 from Jacobs University Bremen in Germany where she worked on antigen presentation and cancer immunotherapy in the lab of Sebastian Springer. She came to NYU School of Medicine for the first time as a SURP student where she worked with HSV and discovered how exciting viruses can be. After graduation, she decided to return to NYU and join the Immunology and Inflammation training program at the Sackler Institute and officially joined the Cadwell lab in the summer of 2018. Stela will be investigating the recognition and response of the immune system to norovirus.
